In anticipation of the RIAA taking down the past post, I re-posted this one and have officially added the media-whore of a company to my IP Address Blocker. Congratulations, and good riddance you S.O.B.
Jay-Z's much anticipated (well, not as much as "D.O.A.") next track for his album Blueprint³ (via Roc Nation/Atlantic) titled "Run This Town" hit radiowaves and the 'net today. Production and star-power wise, the track hits right on the money. Not necessarily what you call a summer banger, but nonetheless still a hot track and just shows why Blueprint³ is going to be one of the best albums of the decade, along with his (other dope) album The Black Album. Featuring Rihanna on the vocals and Kanye West (production credit as well?), this track should be listened to, and downloaded, nOW. Plus I guess it's worth mentioning this is Ri Ri's first high-profile track since the CB incident.
Kid Cudi released this mixtape compilation titled riCUDIculousand features all Kid Cudi vocals. Subtitled "The Kid Cudi Freestyle Mixtape", grab it free below. The cover art work is brought to you by Fred Hart (808s & Heartbreak, anybody?).
Trey Songz released this heart-wrenching new track, "Die Tonight" - perfect for the lovey-dovey fans or the love-makin' fans, check it out and grab it below!
Well, today was some unexpected news as I realized this is my 300th blog post! I never thought I'd reach this far, especially since re-starting this blog in April and having quite a great run at it. I can't thank all those who have dropped by to check out a song, video, clip, trailer, news, or otherwise here to grab an image (that Michael Jackson tribute post is my most popular one yet...) enough for your continual support. I wouldn't be doing this if people weren't showing up to check out the latest in stars * media * hype+ * sports * fashion and I hope that you guys keep on coming back!
Now to help me celebrate this joyous celebration, I'm going to be asking BoA to come on up with her latest video, "Energetic". Featuring the ever sexy, ever beautiful BoA, enjoy the clip and check out today's other posts.
Ne-Yo drops another joint called "Take It Back" - seriously speaking, he could have released an album with all the songs he's got coming out... oh well, not my loss :)
Chris Brown released a two-minute video *finally* apologizing for his behavior. I'd say this is a good 5 months late, but at least he did it (thank you Mr. Brown's PR team!) - now keep making some good music and do a few "I made a mistake" tracks that top the charts and you'll be (sort of) back on your feet!
DJ Clue & New Music Cartel bring you Kanye West - R & Yeezy for your listening pleasure, featuring tracks such as "Knock You Down", "Walkin' On The Moon", and 34 other tracks from the Louis Vuitton Don himself.
Kid Cudi x Kanye West x Common + Lady Gaga and her joint "Poker Face" brought you the track "Make Her Say" - a great spinoff of the former track which was sampled heavily and even has her singing at the end. Now, in video format and brought to you exclusively by MTV, we get the visual treatment for a sick track - watch it now!
