Happy New Year! As we bring in 2010, and a new decade, I also have new things happening, and to cut things short, I must bid farewell to this Blog. I know I haven't been very active on this since the winter break, but that's because I've been busy at work getting the new site I will be a part of up and ready for the launch in the new year. This doesn't mean I'm done with blogging, but just that you can find all the same content you've come to enjoy on this site, plus more at http://blog.premierproductions.ca/.

This blog, at least in the near future, will be converted into my personal blog - void of all content but purely for me to rant, comment, and post things that are important to me on a personal level. I know that this has been a long and hard journey to get to where I'm at now, starting at just 100 or so visitors per month, to now with 4,400+ unique visitors, and 6,314+ page views per month. This site went through a complete rehaul in the layout and name, and with it multiple revisions to the blog format to what it is now. But it's because I've reached this far that I've decided to move my blogging services to the Premier Prod.'s blog. Not only does it give me more access to media content, but also allow bigger and better content that I can post utilizing their resources.

I want to personally thank each and everyone of you who have supported, commented, criticized, and otherwise leached all the stuff on this site, and I look forward to providing you new and exciting content in the new year and decade at my new destination...

Chew Fu, the "Serial Fixer", has launched another new track, re-fixing this time Pretty Ricky's "Say A Command". A huge face-lift as it brings about a electro-house flair to the Hip-Hop track.

DJ Chedo, whom I know personally, is a huge avid fan of all types of music and hosts The Come Up Show (which on its own is a sick hip-hop slot). He recently got the chance to interview J. WOW I can't believe that the 00's are coming to an end, as it only seems like yesterday we were worried about the Y2K crisis happening...

With it, as many music lovers know, so much has happened within the music industry that its baffling. You have mp3's, digital downloads, and of course online streaming as the new norm. People pirate and buy up goods that the RIAA and rest of the fat cat's can't get their money-grubbing hands on (and while we're at it, might as well throw the IFPI (damn French) under the train too) while the rest of the world has adapted to the new medium.

And of course, we have the very best of the decade in music... Hip-Hop has taken over as early as 2001, with Pop music finally letting go of its clutches as Justin Timberlake left to go solo, and how both Eminem's and 50 Cent's new albums in 2001 and 2003 showed how marketable the hip-hop image was. As well, Alternative Rock, which encompassed the likes of Emo and Post-Grunge, was a heavy influence within the decade as bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, 3 Doors Down, and Theory of a Deadman. With a shift at the end of 2009 moving towards the Electro-genre and the revival of Synthpop (with hit makers such as Lady GaGa, Crookers, MSTRKRFT, Idle Warship and other notable acts moving towards that sound), it still stands that Hip-Hop has dominated the majority of the decade (at least according to Rolling Stone).

Makes a slow track up-beat and actually danceable to. Look for Chew Fu on remixing the whole album and to come out on Def Jam sometime in January.
