This is a great song and MIA is a fantastic talent. It's so good to hear some world beats (Sri Lankan, Brazilian 'Baile Funk' etc) making their way into the (often monotonous) 'doonka doonka' of dance music. As well as being pretty special in her own right, she has a knack for teaming up with super-producers, who stamp her songs with their own sound as well (Diplo for 'Arular', her first album, as well as some tracks on 'Kala', along with Timbaland and others making guest appearances).
I've seen MIA live 3 times now and she never fails to impress. I'm about to upload some footage from last year's concert at The Forum in Sydney, if you're interested. I'll send you the link :)
