Louis Vuitton Omotesando (in Japan) has teamed up with Takashi Murakami to bring a new in-store decoration to go along with their Multicolor Spring Pallet set for Spring/Summer 2009. Takashi Murakami is a prolific artist in both fine arts and digital/contemporary means. Credited for creating the "Superflat" genre in art, it encompasses otaku and pop culture together.
This influence can clearly be seen by the interior of the store, which features flower patterns and collaboration plush dolls from Murakami and LV. Murakami has also created an animated feature called Superflat First Love - check out the preview below the pics and hit the jump for the full feature.
